Meet Estelle, an 8 year old little gem who loves her family and full of life. She's kind spirited, full of love little girl who was diagnosed with an unfortunate rapid growth malignant tumor at the base of her brain. Over the course of two weeks and many doctors visits, the tumor was found on Saturday and she was rushed to AI Dupont. On Sunday, she was seen by a Doctor who saw her case and gave up Easter with his family to come to her rescue. He noticed the tumor was about the size of a golf ball and wanted to operate as soon as possible. By 9pm Easter evening the Doctor was happy to report he was able to get 99% of the tumor removed. That 1% left had attached itself to the brain stem. Estelle will need chemotherapy and radiation. We are happy to report that Estelle is doing well at this point. Estelle will spend the next week (at least) in PICU at Al DuPont. She will get a little time at home to spend with her family before going to CHOP to spend 6 weeks undergoing radiation treatments. Chemo will also be done at CHOP for a duration of one to two years. 

We are raising money to help with Estelle's medical treatment costs and day to day costs to help get the treatment she needs to recover and be cared for properly.
