In Memory of Essie Mae Brown Help With Memorial Expenses

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved mother, Essie Mae Brown—a woman of strength, love, and resilience. She was the heart of our family, deeply cherished by her two children and two grandchildren. Now, as we grieve this unimaginable loss, my brother and I are faced with the difficult reality of laying her to rest without the financial means to do so.

Our mother did not have life or burial insurance, leaving us to shoulder the burden of funeral expenses alone. This hardship is even greater as I am currently undergoing chemotherapy for multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer that has drained my financial resources. My brother, a devoted father of two, has already exhausted his savings providing for his children. No matter how much we want to honor our mother properly, we simply cannot afford to do so on our own.

Losing our mother has left us heartbroken and struggling to give her the farewell she deserves.
