For over 30 years and since 1992, my father has tirelessly worked to build our small home and ensure a safe life for our small family in Jabalia Camp in Northern Gaza Strip. Initially, the house consisted of a single floor that accommodated us 5 siblings (3 boys and 2 girls), along with my father and mother. When my older brother Mufiq got married, we expanded the house with another floor for him and his wife Maha to live in, where they later had our family's first grandchildren (Adi, 5 years old, and Julia, 3 years old). However, on May 14, 2023, during the previous Israeli aggression on Gaza, our home was destroyed by an Israeli missile that demolished both floors. Then, we rebuilt it with all the money we had and whatever else we could get, so that the family could live in it again by October 1, 2023. But another war broke out, and Israeli missiles destroyed our home on October 22, 2023, indefinitely shattering the dream of gathering the family under one roof for the second time! During this war we have been displaced twice, the first time we were displaced to my uncle's house in Northern Gaza, and our displacement lasted 50 days from the start of the war. After 50 days, the occupation bombed my uncle's house, so we had to move again and we managed to move to my aunt's house in Northern Gaza, but the area was completely bombed again, leading us move towards South of Gaza in Rafah, where we are now guests at my aunt's small house. Today, I announce the creation of this campaign to raise funds to help us continue our lives after my father and my older brother lost all their sources of income, and our home has been destroyed twice, leaving us now internally displaced without a clear horizon for the end of the war, nor a near hope for the return of normal life as it was. I would like to complete my studies and so does my younger sister Shams (14 years old), who will need to continue her education in a safe conditions after we have lived through more than five devastating wars in Gaza. With a heavy heart we would like to announce that we are seeking to leave Gaza, but the intention and hope is that our departure will be temporary for a few years until what the occupation destroyed during the war is rebuilt, and we can return to Gaza, this city that we have not seen any more beautiful than and will always remain the most beautiful place. The costs of this campaign will go towards securing the departure of my family of 10 members from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, at a time when the cost of a person's exit is $6,000 due to the security conditions and coordination at the only crossing allowed for our exit. If we can secure this amount, which is $70,000, to temporarily reside in Cairo alongside Gaza, where we can return once the security and living conditions improve. My family members are: 

• Mohammed Ashour (52 years old), my father, who lost his job during the war 

• Falasteen Jumaa (52 years old), my mother, who has been securing our living needs for more than 55 days 

• Noor Ashour (21 years old), a third-year law student at Al-Azhar University 

• Shams Ashour (14 years old), a tenth-grade student with excellent academic stands 

• Mohammed Ashour (24 years old), my younger brother, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts from Al-Aqsa University 

• Mufiq Ashour (30 years old), my older brother, who works as a technician of air conditioning and refrigeration sector and completely lost his job due to the war 

• Maha Shalail (26 years old), my brother's wife and mother of two children, Adi and Julia 

• Khaled Abu Samra (30 years old), my fiancé, a doctor at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, with our wedding planned three months before the war started 

• Adi Ashour (5 years old), my younger brother's son in his first school year 

• Julia Ashour (3 years old), my younger brother's daughter

على مدار أكثر من 30 عاما منذ 1992 عمل والدي بكد مستمر لبناء منزلنا الصغير وضمان حياة آمنة لأسرتنا الصغيرة في مخيم جباليا شمالي قطاع غزة، كان البيت في البداية مكوننا من طابق أرضي واحد يتسع لنا نحن الإخوة الستة (ثلاثة أولاد وابنتان) ووالدي ووالدتي، وعندما تزوج أخي الأكبر موفق عمرنا البيت بطابق آخر ليسكن فيه هو وزوجته مها وينجبان لاحقا انجبا أول حفيدين للعائلة (عدي 5 سنوات وجوليا 3 سنوات) لكن بتاريخ 14 مايو 2023، خلال العدوان الإسرائيلي على غزة، تعرض منزلنا للتدمير بفعل صاروخ إسرائيلي سقط على المنزل ودمره بطابقيه، ثم أعدنا بناؤه بكل ما لدينا من أموال وما استطعنا الحصول عليه لتسكن فيه العائلة الكبيرة من جديد بتاريخ 1 أكتوبر 2023، لكن الحرب جاءت مرة أخرى ودمرت الصواريخ الإسرائيلية منزلنا بتاريخ 22 أكتوبر 2023 لتهدم حلم تجميع العائلة تحت سقف واحد إلى أجل غير مسمى. نزحنا للمرة الأولى إلى منزل عمي في شمال غزة واستمر نزوحنا فترة 50 يوما منذ بداية الحرب ثم بعد ذلك قصف الاحتلال منزل عمي الذي نزحنا إليه ثم توجهنا إلى منزل عمتي في شمال غزة فقصفت المنطقة بالكامل، لنقرر بعدها النزوح باتجاه جنوب غزة في رفح، ونحن الآن ضيوف في منزل عمتي الصغير منذ ذلك اليوم. *** أعلنت اليوم عن إنشاء هذه الحملة لجمع أموال تساعدنا في استمرار حياتنا بعدما فقد والدي وأخي الأكبر مصدر رزقهما وتدمر منزلنا مرتين وصرنا الآن نازحين في داخل بلادنا دون أفق واضحة لانتهاء الحرب، ولا أمل قريب بعودة الحياة الطبيعية إلى ما كانت عليه، أنا بحاجة لإكمال سنوات الدراسة الخاصة بي وكذلك أختي الصغيرة شمس (14 عاما) ستحتاج لإكمال دراستها في ظروف آمنة بعدما عشنا معا أكثر من 5 حروب طاحنة. يعز علينا أن نعلن أننا نسعى لمغادرة غزة، لكن النية والأمل أن يكون خروجنا مؤقتا لعدة سنوات قليلة ريثما يتم إعادة إعمار ما دمره الاحتلال خلال الحرب ونعود إلى غزة، هذه المدينة التي لم نر أجمل منها وستبقى الأجمل في عيوننا. ستذهب تكاليف هذه الحملة لتأمين خروج عائلتي المكونة من 10 أفراد من قطاع غزة عبر معبر رفح، في الوقت الذي تكلف فيه خروج الشخص 6000 دولار أمريكي بسبب الظروف الأمنية والتنسيقات على المعبر الوحيد المسموح لنا بالخروج منه في حال استطعنا تأمين هذا المبلغ وهو 70.000 دولار أمريكي، على أن نسكن مؤقتا في القاهرة إلى جانب غزة حيث يمكننا العودة بعدما يصبح الوضع الأمني والمعيشي أفضل. أفراد عائلتي هم:

 شمس عاشور (14 عاما) طالبة في الصف العاشر ومتميزة في دراستها

محمد عاشور (24 عاما) أخي الأصغر وهو خريج كلية الآداب من جامعة الأقصى

 موفق عاشور (30 عاما) أخي الأكبر ويعمل في قطاع التكييف والتبريد وفقد عمله كليا بسبب الحرب

مها شلايل (26 عاما) زوجة أخي وأم لطفلين هما عدي وجوليا خالد أبو سمرة (30 عاما) خطيبي وهو دكتور في مستشفى الشفاء بغزة وبدأت الحرب قبل زفافنا بثلاثة أشهر
