This is my friend's sister, Holly, and her husband Erin Bartschi.  They live in Soda Springs, Idaho.  In March, Erin fell on the ice injuring his back.  While treating him they discovered he has multiple myeloma.  Erin's cancer has been very aggressive.  However, he responded well to the chemotherapy that was given over the summer.  He had a stem cell transplant a week ago Friday.  Last Sunday his fever reached 105.5.  His blood pressure dropped extremely low and he became septic.  Erin continues to fever and this will slow down his recovery.  Holly has used up her sick leave and vacation and is now on half pay.  We are raising money to assist them in making ends meet during their stay in SLC.  It is anticipated that they will be in Utah for 5-6 more weeks.  Erin is an amazing selfless individual.  He has always helped others in their times of need.  We appreciate your thoughts and prayers and all of the love that has been shown to this family.  Thank you all so very much.
