Eric Janzen’s Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Eric’s battle with addiction has come to an end. He passed away Wednesday, March 7th around 4:30 PM. He fought addiction for far too long. He was finally on the road to recovery and for 4 months, he had been clean. He stayed on top of work, while never missing a day. He recently came home excited about a compliment on his working abilities and that’s when we all knew things would be getting better. He was a loving father, son, brother, and fiancé. Within the past few days, everything started to go downhill. Eric had relapsed. The drug that has almost killed him many times before had come back for its last shot to take my brothers life. The drug has won.
My family rarely asks for help from anyone. In this time of distress, we are asking for any donations that will help cover the funeral costs. Eric did not have any type of insurance or savings, so this cost is all up to our family. We will be thankful for anything you may be able to give, even if it’s only $1. If we happen to exceed the amount of money we need, all remaining funds will be donated towards overdose awareness and research.
