In May, our mom Erica (Gaga to her 12 grandkids) was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. The diagnosis was fast and very unexpected, as our mom has always been high energy and healthy. She now faces a challenging road ahead with chemotherapy treatments, surgery, and more chemotherapy appointments that will begin immediately, aiming to prevent the further spread of cancer in her body.
All donations received will help ease the financial burden caused by the loss of her part-time work and increased medical bills. Additionally, they will support an investment in naturopathic/holistic treatments alongside traditional treatment plans.
We deeply appreciate prayer support and notes of encouragement during this time. If you prefer to show your support through a tangible gift, we have created an Amazon Wish List full of things needed for our moms upcoming treatments.
Lastly, we would like to emphasize the importance of early detection and raising awareness of ovarian cancer. As an all-girl family, we were shocked to learn that this disease often goes undetected until its later stages and is not routinely monitored during well-women exams. By sharing our mom's story, we hope to increase awareness and empower other women to recognize the signs, leading to early detection and intervention.
Thank you for your support, donations, love, and prayers.
