Hi, my name is Kelly and I am fundraising for my coworkers daughter Eralynn who was diagnosed with a central adrenal insufficiency when she was seven years old. She has always struggled to keep her condition stable and earlier this year she lost a great deal of weight and had to up her steroid doses as she was constantly going into adrenal crisis which is life threatening.

She used to participate in dance classes and now she has lost energy and is in pain and cannot do those classes, missing school and can’t participate in any other regular children activities.

Recently she’s been going into adrenal crisis a lot and had to be checked out by her paediatrician in which it was decided for her best interest to airlift her to children’s Hospital in Vancouver. After two weeks in the hospital with no clothes or any personal items, they were sent home with Eralynn having to slowly wean off of all of her life-saving steroid medication‘s this includes not going to school or participating in any regular activities. She is required to stay in bed if she is in pain and not feeling well and be monitored at all times which is a full time job.

This is going to be a long journey for Eralynn and her family and there are going to be many doctor appointments in different cities, tests, medical equipment to help her navigate her journey.

I am asking this community, especially those who know this wonderful family, to contribute and help raise money for a family that does alot for others and doesn’t ask for anything for themselves.
