Zenebech (Eneye) Gura: A Guiding Light to Many Through Faith and Love

With hearts full of sorrow, yet uplifted by the promise of eternal life, we honor the memory of our cherished Eneye, who was called home after a valiant struggle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Throughout her journey, Eneye’s faith in the Lord was unshakeable, illuminating the path for all of us with hope, grace, and love that transcended her earthly battles.

Eneye was a testament to the strength and peace that come from a deep trust in God's plan. Her laughter was a balm to our souls, and her wisdom, drawn from the well of her faith, guided us through life's challenges. Facing ALS, she embodied the Scripture, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," (Philippians 4:13), teaching us the true meaning of resilience and the power of faith to carry us through the darkest times.

In her honor, we have initiated this GoFundMe campaign to support the costs incurred during her care, as well as the arrangements for her funeral and memorial services. Eneye will be laid to rest in her homeland, in a ceremony that honors her roots and the profound impact she had on those around her. Additionally, we will hold a memorial service in Schaumburg, IL to celebrate her life and legacy among friends and family who were touched by her grace and kindness.

In memory of Eneye, let us come together in faith and love to cast a light on ALS. Your generosity will help raise awareness for this disease and honor her legacy.

በእምነት እና በፍቅር ለብዙዎቻችን መሪ ብርሃን በመሆን ምሳሌ ሆናን ስላለፈችው ዘነበች ጉራ፡ (እነዬ)

ምንም የሁላችንም ልብ በሐዘን ቢሞሉም፣ ባለን በዘላለም ሕይወት ኪዳን ምክንያት ልባችን ተስፋ ተሞልቷል። ALS ወይም Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis ከተባለው ሕመሟ ጋር በእምነት እና በፅናት ታግላ ወደ ዘላለማዊ ቤቷ የተጠራችውን እንዬ ዛሬ በክብር እናስታውሳታለን።

እንዬ፣በዘመኗ ሁሉ በጌታ ላይ የነበራት እምነት የማይናወጥ ነበር፣ ይህም ዘመኗን በተስፋ፣ በጸጋ ስለተጓዘች ምንም ብዙ ጉድለቶች ባሉበት ምድር ብትኖርም በዚህ ሁሉ ግን አልፎ የሚያበራው ፍቅሯ ብርሀኑ እኛ ጋር እና የልጅ ልጆቿ ሁሉ ላይ ደምቆ በርቷል።

እንዬ በአምላኳ ላይ ከነበራት ጥልቅ እምነት እና ሰላም የተነሳ ለሁላችን ምሳሌ እና ምስክር ነበረች። ሳቋ እና ፈገግታዋን ላየ ሁሉ ልክ እንደ በለስ ለነፍሱ ጣፋጭ ነበር። ጥልቅ ከሆነው እምነቷ የተቀዳውን ጥበቧን ስታካፍለን ለሚገጥመን ፈተናዎቻችን ጥበብ እና መሪ ሆኖን ነበር።

የ ALS ህመም ፈተናዋ ጋር በምትታገልበት ወቅት ፊሊ 4:13 ላይ “ሀይልን በሚሰጠኝ በክርስቶስ ሁሉን እችላለሁ” የሚለውን ቃል ኖራው ስላሳየችን እኛም የዚህን ቃል እውነተኛ ትርጓሜውን እጅግ በጨለመው የህይወት ፈተናችን ላይ የእምነትን ሃይል እንድናገኝበት አስተምራን አልፋለች።

ለእንዬ ለህክምናዋ ወጪዎቿ እና አሁንም ወደ አምላኳ ከሄደች በኃላ ላለው የክብር ሽኝቷ እንዲውል ገንዘብን በ gofundme አሰባስበናል። ይህንንም ያደረግነው እንዬ በኢትዮጲያ እና በዙሪያዋ ለነበሩ ሰዎች ሁሉ ላደረገችው መልካም ተፅኖ የሚመጥን ታላቅ ሽኝት እንዲሁም የቀብር ስርአቷን ለመፈፀምም ጭምር ነው።

በተጨማሪም፣ በእንዬ ውስጥ በነበረው ፀጋ እና ደግነት በተነኩ ወዳጅ ዘመድ እና ቤተሰብ መካከል ምሳሌ የሆነልንን ህይወቷን እና አገልግሎቷን ለማክበር እና ለማስታወስ በ Schaumburg, IL በሚገኘው የቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ ወይም St. Peter Lutheran church የመታሰቢያ እና የሽኝት መርሀ ግብር እናካሂዳለን።

በዚህ ልዩ እንዲሁም ለአንዴ እና ለመጨረሻ በምናደርገው የኤንዬ የመታሰቢያ ሽኝት ላይ በመገኘት እንዬን ባሰቃየው የ ALS ህመም ላይ የፍቅር ብርሀናችንን በማብራት በእምነት እንሰባሰባለን። ይህም መሰባሰባችን የ እንዬን የህይወት ዘመን ከማክበር ባለፈ ክርስቲያናዊ ርህራሄን ለሌሎች የማካፈል አገልግሎትም አለው።

" መልካሙን ሥራችሁን አይተው በሰማያት ያለውን አባታችሁን እንዲያከብሩ ብርሃናችሁ በሌሎች ፊት ይብራ።" ( ማቴዎስ 5:16 )
