We are a team of passionate student filmmakers dedicated to uplifting underrepresented stories, and we are currently raising funds for the July 20th-23rd pickups for our short film, En Contra El Orden Natural. This project centers Latino identity, LGBTQ+ visibility, and the courage it takes to speak out against systems that threaten our communities.

Our film follows two young students, Sol and Isa, as rising hostility on their college campus leads them to an anti-ICE protest and forces them to confront fear, silence, and the cost of speaking out. At its core, our film is about resistance in a world that often asks marginalized communities to stay quiet.

We completed our principal shoot in March with an incredible cast and crew, and these pickups will help us strengthen the film's emotional impact, visual continuity, and final story beats.

Shot on the Sony FX9 with Cooke lenses, the film has a grounded, cinematic look that reflects the intimacy and urgency of the story. All donations will go directly toward equipment, locations, production design, transportation, and feeding our cast and crew.
