On April 22, 2020  my 17 yr old son Emmanuel was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of the proximal left tibia.


Emmanuel is an God gifted athlete. He can easily and quickly pick up just about any sport with little to no effort.

His longest loved and favorite is basketball. When he was about 1 and a halve, his day care teacher would sit all the kids down and let Emmanuel entertain them with his dribbling skills.

Just like all kids Emmanuel struggled at different points in time to learn who he is in sports and in life. There were times when his shot just wouldn't go in.  One time (just one) when he didn’t make the high school basketball team in Toronto Ca. Even then he continued to push him self to be better.

By no means is Emmanuel perfect. No, he is just an amazing young man figuring out life.

In 2017 at the age of 13, he hurt his knee. He asked me to take him to the Dr. which I did, we were told that everything was fine but it looks like he had a cyst on the left tibia. We were told it was nothing and common.

Emmanuel went on to play school basketball and on multiple AAU teams for next three years.

In 2020, During spring break,Emmanuel was playing volleyball with some friends and hurt his knee. during the covin 19 pandemic,  we thought it was not a big deal.  

Boy were we wrong.


As parents, we believe that we are the strong ones, we didn't know what to say when our son turned to us and starts to apologize, he thought he let us down.

We told him, now more than ever keep your faith in God and we couldn't be more proud of you and that we love you very much.. our son turned to us and said I'm ok and i'm gonna beat this. It was the best thing we could have heard.

So we are asking you all to help Emmanuel with his fight.
