Global Experiential Learning Trip

Hey Friends! I've had an amazing opportunity offered to me through Shenandoah University. I have been accepted to a 2 week Global Experiential Learning trip that will take me to France, Belgium, and Spain in May 2018. While I am in these amazing countries I will be learning about the history, economics, and current events of each country. The world is continually changing and so complex, this trip will provide me with a better awareness of international structures, relations, and communications. I will go to Brussels, Belgium to see the European Commission and European Parliament where leaders gather to forge policies and legislation. I'll also visit Provence, France which will provide insight into life and culture in a smaller European city. I will explore Paris and Barcelona, as they are cultural and economic centers of the EU. I will have the opportunity to meet with experts from legal, economic, and cultural centers. In each country I'll engage in artistic, historical, and hands-on cultural experiences. Visiting Brussels, Paris, Provence, and Barcelona will provide a rich, varied, and cultured overview of some of Europe’s most important and iconic economic and cultural centers. This trip will give me 3 credits towards Shenandoah and invaluable life experience. Its always been a dream of mine to travel and Shenandoah has given me that opportunity! The trip cost $3,900. This cost includes roundtrip airfare, accommodation, transportation, 3 SU credits, and events. My meals, personal expenses, and other activities I choose to participate in are not covered by that cost. Thank you so so much for you support and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I go on this incredible journey!
