Emily Grace Reimers' Medical Expenses

Kind and caring preschool teacher, Emily Grace Reimers, was a victim of a tragic car accident at the Menomonee Falls fireworks in Wisconsin on July 3, 2022. Emily Grace (25) and her loving brother Ben (24), were standing in the path of a vehicle barreling into a crowd of pedestrians, and were struck down. Ben entered into the presence of his Savior en route to the hospital, and his sister sustained multiple life-threatening injuries but continues to fight for her life at the local hospital.

Emily’s spirit is strong, stubborn, and relentless. Her body may be broken, but her mind and spirit refuse to give up. Emily was run down by an SUV: she is suffering from extensive bleeding, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, broken pelvis (and accompanying internal damage). Today, July 5, she is going through spinal surgery. Despite all of this physical pain and brokenness, when visited by her pastor, Emily Grace asked for a writing tablet and began by writing that she wanted God to get the VICTORY through all of this. Satan meant this tragedy for evil, but God means to use it for good. And Emily believes this in every fiber of her broken being. She then proceeded to tell her pastor that she still wants to be used by God to reach an unreached people group for her Savior; she loves India and the Indian people, and has been working to learn Tamil because she wants to see those who have never heard the saving gospel of Jesus Christ to have that opportunity. She then told her pastor about the people she was concerned she was not going to be able to meet and do a discipleship with that week due to the accident. Emily has never been focused on herself—her first care has always been for others.

Emily is a special teacher in the Menomonee Falls community. She is the primary teacher for the Preschool at Falls Baptist Church. Working tirelessly with these little children, Emily never complains and goes out of her way to meet the needs of each child and partner with families. Emily is also a loving and dedicated violin teacher at the Falls Baptist Music School. During her years of teaching for the music school, she has worked with many students and helped them to become successful on their instruments in their preschool and early elementary years. On Sundays, Miss Emily Grace faithfully taught a Junior High Sunday School class. Her example of faithfulness, love, and care inspired students to regularly attend, and her godliness was an example worthy of being followed by those students. Emily Grace was an example of a humble, selfless leader who was willing to step in and assist wherever needed. Many colleagues did not even know how many people she was involved in teaching, discipling, and mentoring. Her absence has been keenly felt by so many.

Emily Grace’s love for others and mentorship will be sorely missed by many in the community. It is our desire to see Emily get back up on her feet as soon as her body allows so that she can fulfill her God-given mission. As a Christian school teacher, Emily does not make the money she needs to pay all of these hospital bills. Would you be willing to share in the cost of helping Emily get the care and help she needs to get back to loving and helping our broken world? We need more people like dear Emily Grace Reimers.

Thank you for your generous show of love and support. The funds will be divided between Emily’s medical costs and Ben’s funeral costs as the family desires.
