Hi (possibly again),

Current situation:

Something heavy fell on my foot at work so I’m out of work until the end of this month. My car has died and I can’t work my new job without a car so this is urgent. I’ll lose a good job that I love that I was very much counting on to continuing making improvements to my situation. My housing is unstable at the moment and I can’t vend at art shows or take on other opportunities without transportation.

Backstory:

I started this GFM several months ago when things were terrible. My health was on the decline and work was running me into the ground. Good news there have been improvements! My health is way better, I have a new job that I’m very excited about it. I managed to get some health stuff taken care of and overall, am in a good headspace.

The amount I need to raise is essentially the same amount that remains on the original GFM (and I find making a new one incredibly distressing so I’m just doing what I can do).

The plan was to hopefully keep my current car running until a couple paychecks came in from new job to throw down for a new car. But now that’s become an emergency situation due to unstable housing and the loss of transportation. My current car is quite old, one of the issues is transmission, and I’ve already thrown so much money into it, the best option is truly to replace it.

I’m a headstrong, determined baddie who needs some help getting to the next chapter and I’m hoping if you’ve gotten this far, that you’ll help make it happen.
