Plane Ticket: Family Emergency

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to get an emergency plane ticket/ missing work- fund to fly across the country to my parent's home by the morning of Wednesday July 26th for my step-fathers brain surgery. I haven't seen them for 4 years now since I've been a "starving musician" in San Francisco, CA. I love my work, but I unfourtunatly don't get to save a bundle doing it presently.

After a weekend of sudden symptoms, my step-father Alec saw the doctor today, 7/24, to find out that he has a malignant tumor that caused his brain swelling and it must be removed on Wednesday.

I need about about half of my funding goal for a short notice plane tickets (SF,California to Anchorage, AK) , and being an independent contractor (I am a musician/teacher), I do not have extensive sick time or vacation days, so I'll need the other half of my funding goal to cover the lost income for a week and boarding expenses while in Anchorage, AK. I'm hoping to stay about a week, but 3 days would be minimum amount.
