EMBRACE

Hi, my name's Tim Hildebrand, and I'm hard at work on my MFA thesis film "Embrace".    

Embrace is the story of a prodigal father.   His determination to end his 16 year estrangement from his daughter is matched only by her determination to be left alone.      

The movie is in pre-production, and I am elated about our cast!  Jordan Knapp, Ivona Kustodic and Diego Medellin create a powerful ensemble that I'm humbled to join, and have interpret my work.  Casey Feldt has signed on to direct, and producer Chiffon Valentine is hard at work filling crew positions and hammering out location and contract details.  

Shooting begins Dec. 11, and by then, bills will need to be paid!   That gives us just over 30 days to find 30 investors who will offer $100 each.   The New York Film Academy is generously donating the use of a Caonon 5D camera, and a basic light and sound kit.  This GoFundMe money will be used to secure our shooting venue, pay the non-NYFA students in our cast and crew, rent higher level sound equipment (bad sound is the bane of all thesis films!), van rental, craft services, location permits and equipment insurance.

This project goes to the heart of my feelings on life, mistakes, damage, forgiveness and opportunity.   It's also the debut film from my company, Resolute Gopher Productions!  I SO appreciate any support you can give!
