Ely's European Odyssey

I am a 7^th, grader who attends Ocoee Middle School. I have the privledge of being  among the few who will travel as a U.S. Student Ambassador with the People to People program. People to People is an International educational travel program, who offer travel destination on all seven continents for students in grades 5-12. Student Ambassador Programs are typically 14-23 days in length and feature unique activities for building independence and maturity, exclusive cultural moments to increase global awareness and exciting destinations to foster a love for international travel and foreign cultures. I  will be traveling with 20-30 students and leaders who are teachers in Florida and including one from own town of Ocoee. My itinerary consists of three countries, France, Italy and Greece. Not only will U visit many historical sites, such as the Louvre, the Vatican, Eifel Tower, Tower of Pisa, the Olympian, Acropolis etc. but I will also be hands on in Italy I will help nuns in a convent, I will  also meet with members of Parliament and propel down a 100 ft. castle. I too will also be doing a home stay in Italy to learn how everyday people and students live in Province, Italy. In Greece I will visit a middle school and interact with students his age.
