During the night of the 23rd of June, Elwood Cafe, one of Burringbars' most loved businesses, suffered a catastrophic fire. As tragic as this is, what makes it all the more saddening is that on the same night, the beloved owners' Jack & Sophie went into labour with their first child. Of course there's insurance and all that but the next little while is no doubt going to be a tough time for Jack & Soph with no income for themselves or staff for that matter. Please help by donating what you can to help get Jack, Soph and their newest family member through the immediate future and hopefully closer to reopening their loving cafe to our community as soon as possible.
*Yes we realise there are other businesses as well that were affected and conversations are being had. No doubt the community can mobilise to assist them where needed also.

Please share far and wide and donate what you can miss, every little bit helps and is so much appreciated!
