Typically I am one not to ask for help. But every now and then everyone needs help.
Hello my name is Andres Macias.
Around a year ago my mother was diagnosed with Liver cancer. She underwent surgery and they were able to remove the cancer. She then went on to get radiation done as part of chemo. The sessions ended and everything seemed stellar. There was no sign of the cancer.
A few months later she started feeling horrible and had to head to the hospital. Upon having some examinations done it turned out that the cancer was not gone but spread to the bones. The first sign of which appeared on her left hip. They removed the piece but by then it was already too late. The only option was to try and keep it from spreading. That also failed as it was hard for her to recover from all the treatments. One by one a string of bad news came from the doctors. They told us the best option would be to take it day by day.
When it started to look like my mother was getting better, it got worse. Just the other day I woke up made her breakfast and went off to work. She looked well as we had a small chat before we left. Then I got a call, my mother's cancer from the liver came back at full force and more aggressive. The nurse and doctor said she only has a few days left, weeks at best. She at the moment is on morphine to easy the pain.
I, my sister and mother have always worked pay check to pay check, while taking turns watching my niece (My Sisters Daughter). With my mother not able to work, me and my sister had a hard time covering the bills but adjusted. We never had plans if my mother were to pass and never had a chance to save up. Now I am reaching out to the world to help with funeral cost and to take care of any of my mothers’ loose ends. Anything will help even by spreading the word. I and my sister thank all of you in advance.
(Sorry for the lack of pictures, My mother was never to much of a picture person. Once I get more I will add them)
