This is a campaign for

Eloi's Death Spark :Extinction Tour

-A bon voyage like no other!

This may seem too lighthearted for such a serious story as death, but if you knew Eloi, you'd know this is how she flows.

You'd know her humor is a blend of British dry, American dark, and squirrel tribe. You know she speaks highly of death and can laugh and joke about it freely.

You'd know her style is a combo of trendy fashionista, boho chic, and festival cool. You'd know her laugh. The one that makes you remember what joy can sound like.

Whether volunteering year after year at CONFEST First-Aid tent, sharing her skills as a nurse to treat locals in Fiji, or helping rescue lost and hurt animals after the Carr Fire. She always does what she can when she can.

Her bravery is remarkable. Unshakable. Unrelenting. Eloi is more than my mom. She is my friend.

How did we get here?

Mum was diagnosed with colon cancer, last year Mother's Day. She had immediate surgery and went through unsuccessful chemo. She has fought this disease every day since.

It metastasized and is in both her lungs. Treatment did not work. This is terminal. If the prognosis is correct, we have just 2 short months. Our faith encourages us to continue living every day until she gets called Home.

Why do an Extinction Tour?

Priorities. There are a few things, a few places, and a few faces mum wants to do, go and see before that call home gets placed. Mum is doing well. She wants to get the absolute MOST out of her "last shift" as she calls it.

When does this EPIC finale begin?

ASAP!! A few final pieces need to be sorted, then we're off.

Last Request and Final Wish

It's far from extravagant. It's simple. I'm not asking for first-class airfares to Europe. I'm asking for help giving my mom the send-off she deserves. She has fought long and hard, and deserves to be happy and do fun things up until her body says it's done.

She's done so much for so many; it's time we give back when she needs us most.
