Elliott was born with severe spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy and because of his diagnosis, he will need ongoing caregiving and medical support for his entire life. While our family is fortunate to have some immediate medical needs covered by insurance, such as incontinence, gastric, and respiratory supplies, there are things that are not.
With the proposal of Medicaid cuts we are also seeing delays in supplies and some equipment has been impossible to to get, such as patient lifts and alternative seating. Please join us in helping us maintain a safe environment for Elliott's caregiver and help get medical equipment not covered by insurance.
Our current goal:
Alternative Seating and Home Modifications.
Why we continue fundraising:
Elliott's Accessibility Fund has been an ongoing effort to help offset the costs of his medical needs as well as his caregivers. We have been so fortunate over the years with everyone's support thus far, which has provided him a $55,000 mobility van in 2020 along with other small purchases to support his mobility and accessibility needs We want continue our efforts towards being able to provide anything that isn't covered through direct support from family, friends, community, grants (when accessible), and state resources.
We appreciate everyone who continues to support Follow our journey on Facebook
