Make Ellie Kate's Dream Come True!

Meet Ellie Kate, an incredible little girl on a tough road. This little cutie is in the midst of a very painful journey. Ellie Kate started having chronic back pain and loss of bladder control about a year ago. She would wake in the night screaming in excruciating pain and nothing seemed to help. She saw doctor after doctor and underwent test after test, but no one could figure out what was wrong.
It was finally determined that Ellie Kate has something wrong with her spine. She has "tethered chord syndrome" and a Chiari malformation involving her brain. On April 5th Ellie Kate underwent the first of two required spinal surgeries to correct the tethered chord issue and prevent permanent damage to her spine, bladder and mobility. The surgery went well and now she is working on regaining strength and full mobility. (This was after having had another surgery in January of this year to partially correct her bladder problems.) She will need another surgery in the near future to correct her brain/spine malformation.
All this precious little girl has asked for in this entire process is to go to Disney World and "meet the real princesses!" :) Of course, her mommy and daddy want so badly to promise her the trip of her little lifetime, but as we all know, a family trip of this caliber can be a financial stretch for any family, let alone a young family with an ever growing stack of medical bills. But with God (and the love of His people) all things are possible!
The aim is for Ellie Kate to be able to enjoy Disney in May, the month of her fourth birthday, and before it gets too hot to enjoy. The doctors have given the green light for her to travel after May 1st.
Our goal is to raise $5000 to ensure they can cover the cost of this trip. We are talking airfare, hotel stay, park tickets, and oh yeah...food! (Times three!) Anything raised above and beyond the cost of the trip will go towards offsetting the mounding medical bills. Anything you feel led to give will be immensely appreciated.
As this family stands firm in their faith in the face of such trying times I would love to see them have the peace of mind and the joy of knowing that they can make their little girl's dream a reality!
"Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—" Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)
