Elle's Double Lung Transplant

This is Elle she has helped many in the community through promoting concerts, musicians and fundraisers and is now in the fight of her life! She needs donations from the community as she is facing a possible double lung transplant and suffers from a extremely debilitating and incurable chronic Stage 4 Lung Deciese.
In the past two years, she has been hospitalized at Mercy San Juan with a Chronic Stage 4 Lung Disease and a collapsed right middle lobe and has suffered several mini strokes known as TIAs. She has been placed on Life Support twice in the past two years: Once in 2012 and again this past December 2014, resulting in this last time losing all her upper and lower body strength. Recently, she has had to relearn to walk again through extensive physical therapy.

Her doctor at Capital Respiratory, Dr. Bradley Chipps MD, said she must next go to Stanford for evaluatation for placement on the Lung Transplant List. This could take more than six months. MediCare will only cover 80% of the total cost. We are hoping to help raise enough money to get her to the point of being able to get to Stanford Medical for Testing and to off set the cost of what she has already iincurred over the past few years while she has been hospitalized and to help with her after care cost.
She has a rare blood type, A RH-negative, so this may take longer to find a donor. She uses oxygen as needed and a respirator. She has good days and bad. She is fighting hard and refuses to give up! She is constantly fighting Pneumonia and lung infections due to her weak immune system. She has not been able to work due to the multiple and continual hospitalizations over these past few years. She is now in real need of help from the community and friends with her medical, caregiving and other expenses at this most difficult time.
She is currently still recovering from being on Life Support trying to get stronger every day . Your donations will help with her aftercare.
