Funeral Expenses

On the morning of December 16, 2017, my mother, Eliza Forbes, was called home to our Lord after an unsuccessful bout with a respiratory disorder.  Miss Liza, as she was known in the neighborhood, was a devout Christian and an ordained Minister.  She was an activist in the community reaching out and inspiring youth with her stories, her outspokenness, and moral conviction.  She championed many community causes, offered help, love, kind words and support to so many that called on her.

Because she did not have life insurance, and my only sibling is mentally disabled in a group home, this financial burden has fallen solely on me. Therefore, I am reaching out to friends and family to contribute to this fund to cover the cost of a justly desired sendoff and funeral service for a deeply loved and serving woman of God.
