Benjamin and Katy Dyall's second son Eli has been pre-natally diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect known as HLHS. HLHS alone is rare and deadly, but young Eli is underweight and also has a hypo-plastic right lung, as well as other internal anatomic abnormalities.
His combination of syndromes is literally a less than one-in-a-million, with only 11 other babies diagnosed with his conditions EVER.
Unfortunately, our doctors have told us that this combination of syndromes makes Eli a nearly impossible candidate for life-saving surgical interventions following his delivery.
We are trying to raise funds for medical expenses, compassionate care, prolonged hospital/hotel stays as well as palliative/hospice care and funeral expenses.
In addition, we are hoping to start a charity that can help young families with similar medical and financial needs similar to ours.
