I am so excited to be returning to Guatemala with my mom this summer (June 17-24). I am even more excited that my friend, Jen Finley is coming too! My first trip was a transformative and eye-opening experience for me. I witnessed first-hand how a small group of dedicated people could make an enormous change in the lives of poverty-stricken Guatemalans.
We will be staying with the amazing people of Catalyst Resources International. Like my first trip, we will build a 3 room home, complete with an Onil stove, water purification system, 2 sets of bunk beds with clean sheets and blankets, a small kitchen table and other necessities (food, broom, cups/plates, trash can, etc.). New for the entire group is the installation of a shower and toilet in a private shed!
As I said previously, I am so excited to experience Guatemala again and this time with one of my very best friends. The bonds made with the family and team members, as well as the memories made with them last forever. Your donation would go directly toward all that our trip entails.
