Eliot's Hospital Expenses
Donation protected
Our Dear Eliot got off work Saturday night, December 19, and went to see his friends at J7 Studios for some live music. After Eliot parked his truck, he headed across Airport Road to join
the group that spilled out the door, when BAM! An oncoming car hit Eliot! Eliot apparently hit the windshield and was thrown across the street.
Suddenly he was in the street, bloody and broken. Someone called 911, and Eliot called his mom. Cheenie was there in minutes and took him to Seton Coastside ER, where the attentive team quickly assessed Eliot's
bloody head and darkening black eye and called the ambulance to take him to San Francisco General for a CT Scan to determine the level of damage. After X-rays and a CT scan, it was determined he had bleeding in his brain, thankfully this subsided quickly. He also had a broken shoulder that would require surgery, multiple fractures of the face and skull, and a fractured vertebrae. After more x-rays, scans, shoulder surgery, and days in the hospital, Eliot was home and on the road to recovery. He was doing handstands the day before the accident, and the teams of fantastic doctors at SFGH are confident that with time he will be 100% healthy again. For that we are incredibly thankful!
Meanwhile, Eliot is in hardcore healing mode, eating well and
gradually returning to regular activity. He can't work, he had no
health insurance when the accident occurred, and he has some pretty
substantial bills facing him. Would you like to help? Please do what
you feel. We really appreciate your support. We all know and love
Eliot. Let's help him get back on track without an unimaginable
financial burden on top of his physical recuperation.
Eliot is a social butterfly, as you know, so please get in touch if
you are inclined. Text him, FB message him, drop by for an hour of
positive interaction. He's got time on his hands.
