Elias Kotto- Acute myeloid leukemia relapse
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
This post is written with heavy yet hopeful hearts; our dear Elias, a giving, loving man is fighting for his life once again.
Nine years ago, Elias battled Acute Meyloid Leukemia. With the selfless stem cell donation from his sister Natasha, and hi unwavering bravery and resilience, he has been in remission ever since.
His journey was marked by countless hospital visits, painful treatments, and uncertain outcomes. And yet still, through it all, his spirit has remained unbroken, his optimism unwavering. Time and time again he redefined the odds.
Cancer has reared its cruel head, casting a shadow of uncertainty over his life. Yet, in the face of this adversity, my husband’s altruism shines brighter than ever.
Throughout this journey, he has not only fought for his own survival but has also dedicated himself to supporting others in their struggles. Whether it’s comforting fellow patients in the hospital, bringing laughter to every nurse and doctor he encounters, or simply offering a listening ear to those in need; my husband’s kindness knows no bounds.
He is a true embodiment of benevolence – a man who, even in the darkest of times, finds the strength to give of himself to others. He teaches us all that true courage is not found in the absence of fear, but in the ability to face it head-on with compassion and grace.
So, in this moment of uncertainty, let us draw inspiration from Elias’ example and hardship. Let us embrace each day with gratitude and love, knowing that even in the face of adversity, the human spirit is capable of remarkable acts of kindness, generosity and strength.
Elias is a fighter, a beacon of hope reminding the world of the power of light . He is a consistent reminder that we stand beside one another, ready to support the ones we love.
With gratitude and health,
The Kotto’s
