Mama Elaine's Home going Celebration
Donation protected
This is our mother Elaine. If you have the pleasure of knowing her then she was your mom, nanny, aunt, and friend too. Our mom is a great person with such a big heart. She loves kids regardless if their hers or not, she has a soft spot for babies especially.
In August 2016 our mom was hospitalized for severe dehydration she was unable to keep anything down. It was during this time she had an open stomach surgery to reroute her intestine to allow her stomach to drain. During the operation it was found that she had a tumor that was causing the problem, the tumor was found to be cancerous and inoperative because it was tethered to a few different organs. She started chemo and Jan 2017 we learned that the chemo was working and the cancer had not spread. Mom was once again hospitalized for extreme pain Jan 3. She then underwent a third stomach surgery to remove a hernia, which means no chemo for 6 weeks. Feb 23, 2017 we would learn that the cancer had spread and there was nothing we could do. Our mother is now slowly fading away.
I'm not one to ask for help but we can't do this on our own. Our mother doesn't have life insurance which leaves us with this expense. I ask that you please donate to help us give our mother the proper home going celebration. Anything is appreciated.
Thank you.
God Bless!
