On 16 June, Norma Campos began a long journey.

Starting from a small village outside of Chinandega, Nicaragua – Norma will simply head ‘north’ as part of a migrant caravan; the journey by bus and foot to ‘la frontera’ on the southern U.S. border could take around 30 days.

Norma will be attempting to seek asylum and refugee status upon arrival; the funds donated will be used to provide appropriate legal support to facilitate a legitimate due process and start her new life responsibly. It is important to note that NONE of these donated funds will be used to support ANY illegal activity of any kind. 

Any support provided will mean so much to Norma and enable her a once and a lifetime chance for a better life. An American dream.

She kissed her two children and babies behind in Nicaragua with all intentions to somehow see them again and provide them all with a better life.
