Domestic violence touches so many families.  Edwina and her precious family were the victims of domestic violence to the extreme.  They were taken captive and suffered gunshot wounds.  Praise God they lived!!!

Edwina will have a long road to recovery physically as well as mentally because of this vicious attack.  She will be faced with a mound of medical bills,  counseling for herself,  her daughter and her niece,  and since she was transported to a hospital 2 hours from her home her immediate family incurred travel and lodging expenses.   Also, Edwina is the mother of three children and has always worked two or three jobs to provide for her children however, after this attack she will be unable to work for sometime due to the injuries sustained.
