Asking all our families, friends, military families and anyone else out there who feels led to help the White family in this nightmare that has become their reality. On October 16th, Edward L. White tried to end his life after fighting a silent battle with depression and PTSD. He is alive and fighting, but has a very long road to recovery ahead of him, and a very large hospital bill over the course of time it will take to get him (as close as they can) to the man he was before this terrible mistake. It will not be easy, but hopefully we can take some of the burden off by helping him and his family with some of the expenses stacking up. He has two babies (Caiden 4yr & Carter 18mo) And the family that is taking care of them at this time are struggling trying to stretch what they have between food, necessary bills, gas, etc.. They need all the help they can get, any little bit goes a long way right now. If you can find it in your heart please give whatever you can. This family is broken and they need help from anywhere they can get it. Eddie is a proud Marine, a loving father, and a friend you would be lucky to have. He trains service dogs for people from all walks of life, had dreams of becoming a police officer and was in the middle of accomplishing that dream. His family just moved into their new home. He was cracking jokes the day before, was having normal conversations with his friends the day of, and sharing humorous posts on Facebook hours before. We would have never known he was fighting a war. Check on your people, always, looks can be deceiving, and reach out if you need help. It is not worth the pain and suffering of you or your family. His life is forever changed, every time he looks in the mirror it will be a reminder of the battle he almost lost... We are going to try and keep this up as long as possible to help them through this. He will be in the hospital for several months, and has a lot of surgeries in his future.
