Education & Football Foundation 5K FUN RUN!

Since 2019, The Education & Football Foundation has been supporting young footballers in need with bursaries to ensure the nation’s favourite sport is accessible for all.

The charity also provides local schools with fully qualified and CRB-checked coaches to deliver drop-in sessions to boys and girls of all abilities. This programme was launched last season, with Sacred Heart High School in Hammersmith the first to benefit, and Burlington Danes Academy added this season.

With your support, the charity’s target is to add two more schools to the programme next season, as well as support more players with bursaries to join SDA and RCLL.

To achieve our collective target of raising £20,000 for the Education & Football Foundation, each of our SDA and RCLL League Teams has been set a target of reaching £2,000.

As a reward for achieving the 5K run and hitting their collective team targets, every player within a team can win a prize as follows:

3rd PRIZE - LEAGUE TEAM RAISES £2,000: SDA or RCLL Branded Training Top

2nd PRIZE - LEAGUE TEAM RAISES £3,500: SDA or RCLL Branded Zip Top

1st PRIZE - LEAGUE TEAM RAISES £7,000*: SDA or RCLL Branded Full Tracksuit

*A friend or family member can donate £2,000 towards 1st prize to become the team sponsor, with their company branding on the tracksuit! This reduces the amount needed to raise to £5,000!

PLEASE NOTE - All net proceeds of the fundraiser will go towards the charity.
