Hi, my name is Jill, I am fundraising for my husband Eddie, or as many of you know him, Ed. After many years of health issues, we were told in March of 2022 that Eddie has Stage 4 Pancreatic/Liver cancer. Such a horrible word. Eddie is a fighter. If he hasn't been in the chemo chair, he has been at work. We were told yesterday that the chemo is not working. How do you hear something like that and not want to give up? Eddie's following words were, "So what is next. I'm not giving up." I am so proud of this man. We are getting his medical care through the VA. When he raised his right hand to defend this country, he was told his medical care would be taken care of. If you are a veteran, you know that is not true. Our medical expenses are piling up, and more will come soon. Per his doctor, we are looking at copays on $30,000 treatments if he is a candidate for the next preferred treatment.

We not only plan to get these bills taken care of but would also like to be able to make memories along the way.
