Working Together Easing Andrea's Brain Tumour Journey

Hi, my name is Rebecca Morrison. Like me, if you know Andrea, she has touched your life in one way or another. Whether as a family member, friend, or students and their families whom she has provided child-centered care for as an Education Assistant. Not only has Andrea touched the life of my son Jonathan when she worked as his Education Assistant. Also, she became one of my mentors as a fellow employee while we worked together as Education Assistants at Schreiber Public School in 2023/2024. Within the last few months, I learned about Andrea's tumour diagnosis and have admired her patience, hope and strength as she navigates this new journey. At the same time uncertainty about medical appointments, what's to come and self advocacy. Not only have I learned that one of her son's faced a brain tumour in the past, but Andrea is also a strong, single mom who works so hard for her boys! I admire that most of all about her!

Let's lock arms and provide some support for Andrea and her boys while she navigates this uncertain journey.
