Eastern NC Flood Relief

Since October 9th, the members of F3 and FIA of Eastern NC have been leading quick response relief efforts for those affected by the rising flood waters in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.  Our efforts thus far have been focused on evacuating residents in low lying areas of Greenville, NC and collecting and donating supplies to a growing number of shelters in our area.  Follow our efforts by joining the following facebook group.

The days ahead will certainly be more difficult than the days behind us.  As flood waters recede, there will be a great need for clean up, repairs, and moving people back into their homes or into new homes.  This of course, will be in addition to the continued need to provide shelter, food, and basic needs for displaced families and individuals.  

We are asking for donations to support the Eastern NC members of F3 and FIA in efforts to support our community during this difficult time.  Money will go to supporting basic needs (food, water, clothing) for those displaced as well as clean up/repair efforts.  Funds will be withdrawn by me (Ryan Perkins) to buy food, water, clothing for families in the affected area as well as clean up supplies, construction materials, and necessary tools for our group to support displaced residents.   

Donations made prior to October 21st will allow us to plan our efforts accordingly and quickly respond to the needs of our communities as relief activities increase exponentially in the coming days.   

We are grateful for all donations.  It is important to us in this time of tragedy that we are able to effectively restore our community while positively impacting the lives of those serving as wel as those we serve.
