“Emergency Support Alex & Her Child’s Fight for Safety and Survival”
Dear friends, kind souls, and compassionate supporters,
My name is Kerry, and I’m reaching out on behalf of someone very dear to me — a brave and resilient woman named Alex, and her beloved child, who have been quietly surviving under unimaginable conditions in the middle east.
Alex's Story
Originally from Europe Alex has lived in middle east for over 10 years, seeking peace, stability, and a fresh start. She has tried to follow every law, every requirement, every bureaucratic process. But because she is not of the same religion, she has faced systemic discrimination, legal barriers, and a social climate that continues to marginalize and isolate her.
She has lived for years in the shadows — unable to work legally, unable to ask for public help, and unable to speak her truth without risking deportation or persecution. She has endured it all in silence, just to protect her child and keep hope alive.
Because of the sensitive nature of her immigration status, Alex must remain anonymous and extremely private. She cannot afford any public exposure that could jeopardize her legal case or safety.
Why you need to help
I’ve supported Alex financially and emotionally since 2016 visiting her twice on vacation to see her and face timing/speaking with her almost daily — covering rent, food, legal fees, and essentials — as Alex cannot legally work or access public aid. But after nearly a decade of helping, my personal resources are now exhausted. She is now facing multiple urgent crises: — doing everything I could to help her survive. But after so many years, my personal resources are depleted and I am asking for help on her behalf, because she cannot ask for herself.
No Food, No Medicine, No Way Forward
Alex currently has no money for food. She is skipping meals, not by choice, but because there is simply nothing left. Her chronic health issues require her to eat well and regularly — but she is now struggling just to feed her child.
This is not just hunger — it’s malnutrition, stress, and pain. It is the slow erosion of the body and spirit when you’re forced to choose between bread and dignity, safety and silence.
She cannot afford even the basics: fruits, vegetables, or clean protein for herself and her child. Her well-being is deteriorating, and she is at serious risk.
A Crushing Rent Increase
Her landlord is now demanding a rent increase. $2,245 CDN covers 1 month of rent. This is unaffordable for her in her current situation. If she cannot meet this demand, she and her child could be evicted, with nowhere else to go. This is completely unmanageable without legal work or public assistance. If she cannot pay, she and her child could be evicted. This is not just a home — it’s the only shelter she’s had for years. Losing it would be catastrophic, with nowhere else to go.
⚖️ Legal Discrimination & Endless Roadblocks
Alex is very close to securing her permanent legal status — a milestone that would allow her to work and rebuild her life. Even that journey has been blocked by layers of discrimination, legal fees, and shifting policies that make it harder for her not being of the same religion to live freely. —But the final stretch requires funds for legal documentation, processing, and survival until approval is granted.

️ She Has No One Else — But She Has Us
Alex has endured years of invisible suffering — quietly navigating a system that never welcomed her. And yet, she has never given up. She is a gentle, loving, deeply spiritual woman who asks for nothing more than a chance to care for her child, to be seen, and to live in peace.
She cannot go public. She cannot speak for herself. But I can — and I’m asking you, with all humility, to help if you can.
Alex is a gentle, spiritual, and loving mother. She asks for no recognition — only the chance to protect her child and survive this last uphill climb. Her strength, despite years of hardship, is nothing short of inspiring.
This campaign is not just about money. It’s about restoring hope, dignity, and showing her that she is not alone. It’s a lifeline. It’s a chance to say, “You matter. We see you. We will not let you fall through the cracks.”
Give — even $10 — it will help restore strength, stability, and dignity. it will make a real and immediate impact. “Please donate $10 or share today to give Alex and her child a lifeline.” 2.9% + $0.30 per donation fee by GoFundMe e.g., “95% of your donation goes directly to Alex”)
If you can’t give, please share this story with others. Compassion ripples outward, and together we can make a difference. The right hearts will hear her story.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for your kindness, generosity, and humanity.
With deep gratitude,
Kerry
