On August 4, 2020, an explosion ripped through the heart of Beirut, leaving over 4000 casualties, including dead and wounded. Hospitals are extremely overwhelmed and forced to turn away injured people. Lebanon is in a state of a humanitarian disaster.
Please help us provide as much help as possible to the Lebanese people who are already facing a heavy economic crisis, as well as surging COVID-19 cases.
People are stuck in this nightmare with their houses demolished, families missing, injured, and/or have passed away. Lives, homes, and businesses have been hurt and taken. There are shortages in medical equipment and not enough resources to handle the damage. With all of this, there will also be long-term damage to the soil, water, and air.
With the incalculable devastation that Lebanon is currently facing there is no better time to act than right here, right now. The people of Lebanon need us. The children of Beirut need us.
This campaign page created for the victims and the affected. We aim to give financial support for the victims to cover essential needs that they have lost due to the incident.
Funds we receive will be transferred, All funds will be used to provide food and shelter to at-risk and vulnerable families affected by this horrific tragedy. Donations will help support buying groceries and distributing Food Boxes to people. Soup kitchens will be held for the people who've lost their homes and are now homeless. Helping people with expenses like rent and other bills will also be a priority.
