Dynette Brumit Cancer Fight Fund

Dynette is a strong willed individual and has taken great pride in being on her own and doing things her way. Life has dealt her one of those blows that hits you so hard you drop to your knees, breathless. She is fighting stage 3 breast cancer. She needs and deserves our help now. She has not been able to work since July with every ounce of her will power put into healing and raising her teenage daughter.

Here are a few of her words that tell a lot about what kind of person she is.

“I feel like I am one of the most blessed people on this earth! I am so thankful for my God my family and my friends!  I have had a very stressful few weeks.  The first week was mostly emotional I had gotten into a pretty dark spot for my depression and anxiety then the 2nd week came and the depression deepened and stress came in to play havoc with me and made it to where I did not feel good physically at all plus the emotional strain now here we are week 3 and the stress is higher the anxiety is higher but also this week my hope is going up steadily. “

I read this and think, all this and feeling blessed?

“I think a lot of my stress also has to be from ever necessary evil of bills.  Some of the companies have been very willing to work with me others not so much they have started to get a bit nasty but I keep an open communication with them and keep them updated so that they at least know that I am trying.  Physically I think this Taxol is harder than the Adriamycin and Cytoxan.  I get fewer days to recover in between because before it was every other week now its every week.  I hear people talking and they are getting chemo 3 times a week, and I think to myself how on earth do they do it, they are so much stronger than I am then I start beating myself up for thinking that I’m a whimp and am whining to myself that I go get chemo once a week, that was a huge piece of humble pie that I willingly ate.  Bottom line is I have it good real good I have an amazing God amazing family and amazing friends.  I love and cherish each and every one of you!”

A while back I asked her how far underwater she was with her bills. Her comment with a heavy sigh was under the ocean. Please help anyway you can. Dynette and her daughter need all the help they can get.
