Help Us Honor the Life and Joy of Dylan James Standlea with a Memorial and Celebration of Life.
On Friday, November 1, 2024, a little after 10 pm, we lost our beloved Dylan James Standlea at the age of 38. Dylan touched the lives of everyone he met with his humor, warmth, and boundless capacity for love. He was incredibly well-loved by his family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to know him. Our hearts go out to Sue, Steve, and all those grieving this immeasurable loss.
To celebrate Dylan’s incredible life, we are hosting a "Afternoon Memorial" and a special “Evening Celebration of Life” on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The afternoon will be a heartfelt memorial service, followed by an evening of joy and laughter with a prom-themed celebration—a nod to the adult prom Dylan and Mandy threw 10 years ago, which brought so much happiness to everyone who attended. Dylan and Mandy had planned to throw another prom this year, and we can’t think of a better way to honor his legacy than to recreate that joyful experience.
We are asking for your support to help make this day as special as Dylan deserves. We are estimate needing $4,000 to cover the costs:
- $1,000 for the space all day
- $1,500 for Afternoon Memorial food and extras
- $1,500 for Evening Prom food and decor
- Any additional funds raised will be donated to a charity in Dylan’s name, ensuring his memory continues to make the world a brighter place, just as he did.
Dylan brought so much love and light into our lives, and we want this celebration to reflect the joy and connection he gave us all. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us honor him in a way he would have cherished.
