Help Us Avoid Foreclosure

Hi! We're Kelly and Donna, two very close sisters who live in Central KY. When our mother died in 2019, we thought the best way to preserve the house we grew up in was to have Donna move into it.

Unfortunately, the pandemic years have taken a toll on both of us financially, especially with Donna being disabled from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. In 2021, Donna was unable to pay the property taxes on the house.

This week, we received a notification that a law firm has purchased the past due tax debt and will be moving to foreclose on the home on January 22, 2024 unless we can pay the cure amounts.

While we were fighting to keep the law firm from taking Donna's home, I also had an insurance claim and damage to my home that I was unable to pay for. And I must also pay the past due amount for my own home mortgage. While I work full time, I have very limited additional money, and I'm also disabled with severe osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
