Hi, everyone!

Unfortunate Update:

With a heavy heart, we are devastated to update that James passed on Saturday, April 19, at home with his mom and dad by his side. The family wants to extend their overwhelming gratitude for everyone who has reached out and offered support through this unimaginable time. Details for a Celebration of Life will be coming soon. The world seems a lot dimmer without our sweet boy but we are praying for peace for Nikki, Chris and Wyatt during this time. Nikki is still fighting her own fight with cancer and we will keep updates as the come.

The Duncan family got the most unfortunate update. The cancer their 3 year old fought so hard this past year has returned on his liver. He will undergo surgery in just a couple weeks and resume a modified chemo treatment. Luckily the reoccurrence is local only and has not spread anywhere else.

In the same month, Nikki was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, colon cancer, and esophageal cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy at the beginning of September and had the colon cancer successfully removed during a colonoscopy. The esophageal cancer is the one she is have to put up the biggest fight. Nikki will undergo 8 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy and a major surgery to remove part of her stomach and esophagus. She will not be able to work for an undetermined amount of time which is putting more stress on an already stressful situation.

This is a nightmare no family needs to face. Please help if you can! The Duncan’s just need to focus on kicking cancers ass!
