Duke Wright Memorial Fund
Donation protected

Duke Wright was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his eight kids more than anything; Christopher, Stacee, Shantey, Otus, Brittany, Tyler, Mario and Zaiah; and his three grandchildren; Amari, Makai, and Ava.
His youngest son, Zaiah, is seven years old and is taking this very hard. The two of them shared an inseparable bond. Zaiah wants more than anything to have a place to visit his father, and we would love to make that happen for him.
Duke passed away with his family by his side on February 18, 2015 at the young age of 44 due to complications from liver disease. His passing was very unexpected as he was taking the necessary steps to receive treatment. His family thought he had more time.
He was a very hard working man for several years and always provided for his family. Due to his condition and him being in and out of the hospital, he was unable to work for the past few years. His family would like to give him the funeral that he would have wanted and deserves.
The cost of a proper memorial and burial is very expensive and financially impossible for the family. We are asking for your help so that we can make this happen for our father, whom we love and miss so very much. Anything helps and is incredibly appreciated.
Thank you for anything you can contribute, even if it’s just a prayer. Please keep our family in your hearts.
