Duck and Ashley's Fire Recovery
Donation protected
On December 14th, we had taken our 3 children out for pictures with Santa when we received a call that would completely change our lives. We raced up the street hoping that there had been a mistake, or that maybe the fire wouldn't be that bad. But by the time we arrived the house was completely engulfed. Firemen were having to fight from a defensive stance for their own safety. We were not allowed inside to look for our pets. We watched our home burn.

Miraculously, no one in our family was in the house, a hero freed my cats, and none of our neighbours homes were damaged. Unfortunately, the house is a cannot be salvaged and we have lost all of our belongings and clothes. Our rats, Brimley, Dune and Eeva could not be saved and our two cats remain in the hospital. We were blessed with the birth of our son, Ryzek in June. But as many know it gets tight when they're is a new baby. Therefore, there was no insurance

Right now the least expensive option we are looking at is to have our home demolished. The best estimate I've gotten on that is around 5k, which is sadly not a financial option for us. Ultimately, we just need some help replacing our basic belongings, our kids Christmas presents, providing medical care for our living pets. But it would be great if we had enough to help my Father in law take care of the demolition.
Thank you guys so much!
