Terry will have multi-level spinal fusion on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Fairview Southdale Hospital.
His journey of back problems started many years ago. Since then he has had 2 discectomies, countless Epidural Steroid Injections, Radio Frequency Ablasion, and Physical Therapy. His surgeon, Dr. Edward Hames, informed us the next step is major surgery.
Surgery is about 6 hours, he will spend 4-5 days in the hospital, and about 4 months in recovery. He has a long road ahead, but the pain relief he should get will be truly wonderful.
As if this isn't enough, Terry lost his job in January of this year after being with Tires Plus for many years. This is news to most of you as he didn't want that to be the focus while he was busy bringing Matt's hockey team to many victories!
So many of our family and friends have asked what you can do to help and at this point the biggest help is financial support.
The money raised will help cover the cost of the many medical expenses such as a back brace, bone stimulator, hospital bed, co-payments on surgery and prescriptions as well as routine household expenses.
Thank you very much for your support!
