Dre is a very loving, caring, outgoing, baseball playing now 14 yr old. He was diagnosed with AML 5Q deletion. There are less than 5 children in the world with this type of AML, Dre makes child #4 with that being said most know that means No statistical data. Dre was a very healthy child and showed no signs of being sick until he suddenly and rapidly fell ill and was diagnosed. Dre underwent a Bone Marrow Transplant October 4th 2013, the transplant was the easy part, all the complications that have followed are not easy. Dre ended up with Graphs Vs Host Disease (GVHD) Stage 4 the worst you can get. It affected not only his skin but his stomach, liver and intestines. Dre has also suffered from Acute Kidney Failure, Pneumonia, BK Virus, Bradycardia, tachycardia, high blood pressure, blood infections, sinus issues that cause him to need several surgeries due to bacterial infections growing such as Staph, yeast and another Gramm Positive item that has not specie out yet. We go to Boston every week now for 2 nights 3 days for E.C.P treatments that's what keeps his body going. He's been hospitalized recently again because of the GVHD. His skin looks burnt, purple, peeling off and real tight. He looks like he has 3rd degree burns on his skin.

Dre's Bucket list.. to Visit Hawaii this was his original WISH trip but at the time Dr's would not approve him to fly that distance..he was sad..AND.. To meet Ellen Degeneres. .he loves her and thinks she's a Riot.
