Hello my name is Taina, I am an 11 year old dancer from "Dreams In Motion" (Middle School Division). Our team resides out of the El Puente leadership centers in Williamsburg JHS 50 and Bushwick. Our dancers come from all over New York City. In total Dreams In Motion has 29 dancers who all had to audition and go through a rigorous boot camp for three to four months before becoming an official D.I.M member. We compete all over the tri state and New Jersey area but because our program is 100% free for its members traveling is becoming very hard even if we get accepted to compete elsewhere. Our dance team "Dreams in Motion" have been around for three years and in our first year we took first place at our very first competition. Due to unfortunate events and funding we were not able to compete in our second year and hope not to repeat that this year. Last year the HS team was accepted into the World of Dance Competition but had to decline it because there was no funding available for the trip. As a team I know we can be successful but we just need a little help getting there. We are very excited about this and hope you can help us out with donations to our team. For those who can't help financially we ask that you continue to root for us so we can bring the championship home ~ "Dreams in Motion"
