Hi, I’m Enrico, a small vineyard farmer in the Prosecco Hills of Valdobbiadene, Italy.
For six years, I’ve worked my vineyards—some inherited, some rented—trying to carry on a tradition that means everything to me.
I manage about 11,000 sqm of vineyards, certified under SQNPI for sustainability. But most of the work is still done by hand, with a 30-year-old mower and a walking tractor from the '90s that now has serious issues. I don’t know how much longer it will last.
On top of that, many of my vines have been destroyed by Flavescenza dorata, a disease that kills the plants. I’m currently replanting 2,200 sqm and will need to replant another 2,500 next year.
The days are long. I also work a part-time job to get by, often doing 15–16 hours a day between both jobs. But despite all my efforts, what I earn isn’t enough to afford a used tractor—something basic costs €18,000 or more. For me, it’s a dream that feels out of reach.
With your help, I could finally ease the manual workload, care better for my vines, and look to the future with hope. If I go beyond the goal, every euro will go into the farm: upgrading tools, and maybe one day producing my own wine.

Combattere la Flavescenza, reimpiantare le vigne e salvare un sogno con le mie mani.
Ciao, sono Enrico, un piccolo viticoltore delle colline del Prosecco, a Valdobbiadene.
Da sei anni lavoro le vigne di famiglia e in affitto, cercando di portare avanti una tradizione a cui tengo moltissimo.
Gestisco circa 11.000 mq di vigneto, tutti certificati SQNPI. Ma quasi tutto il lavoro lo faccio ancora a mano, con una falciatrice di 30 anni e una motoagricola degli anni ’90 che ormai ha grossi problemi. Non so quanto potrà ancora andare avanti.
Negli ultimi anni, la Flavescenza dorata ha distrutto molti filari. Sto reimpiantando 2.200 mq e l’anno prossimo ne dovrò rifare altri 2.500.
Per riuscire a tirare avanti, faccio anche un altro lavoro part-time. Le mie giornate durano 15–16 ore, ma nonostante tutto, non riesco ad accumulare abbastanza per acquistare un trattore usato. Per me è un sogno, oggi irraggiungibile.
Con il vostro aiuto potrei alleggerire carico di spesa che sto affrontando. Mi piacerebbe ridurre anche il lavoro manuale grazie all'acquisto di un trattore usato cosi da prendermi più cura dei vigneti e guardare al futuro con fiducia.
Se supero il traguardo, ogni euro verrà reinvestito nell’azienda: per nuovi attrezzi e, un giorno, magari produrre il mio vino.
