Hey beautiful people my name is Maxwell Hoyt, in late September 2022 i participated in a house fire. I was burned 21% of my body up and down my right side, and my right hand amputated. Making a gofundme by yourself for yourself can mean a few things . In my case, it means a few months healing within the boundaries of financial stability while healing for my next operation in the series of surgeries. I have utilized nearly every resource I had available. My outstanding debts (payday loans credit card phone bill) were taken care of when i was attempting to enjoy life as a local 502 LONGSHOREMAN on a higher board (still casual). World renowned Thomas Joseph Goetz md. will operate on my arm, which is stuck at 90° and not able to straighten, preventing my fitting of a prosthetic, unfortunately. With nowhere to go after discharge from burn ward a friend took me in and stepped up as a care aid. I am finally reaching out, bills have piled up and living in beautiful British Columbia has only become more expensive even the essential things are ridiculous before adding medical supplies, transportation and groceries. I am behind and appreciate all the help i can get. Shout out to my longshore brothers and sisters of local 502 family. Life can get tough, but we all must remain strong, foster positive thoughts, and maintain persevering attitudes. we can all spend the unfolding of this life in bliss, not binding torment.
