In loving memory of Dr. Charles (Chuck / Doc) Wentworth, we are raising funds for The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, an organization dedicated to keeping music and the arts alive in our schools. Chuck's life was dedicated to the arts in all forms. A music educator, conductor, theater and dance lighting-set-sound designer, photographer, violin maker and repairman, veteran, and loving husband and father - he inspired creativity and joy in everyone around him. By contributing to this fundraiser, we can honor his legacy and ensure that underrepresented youth receive access to the transformative power of music education.
Your generous donations will help:
- Provide vital support services to underfunded music programs nationwide.
- Supply musical instruments to school districts, making music education accessible to all.
- Music (and Arts) Education District Support Services (MEDSS™) a comprehensive arts (dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts) education assessment and consulting service that identifies challenges and barriers creating inequities for student access and participation in quality, sequential and sustainable music and arts programming at every school throughout an entire school district. MEDSS also identifies why these barriers exist so that solutions can be implemented to remove them.
Let’s come together to celebrate a beautiful life and invest in the future of music.
Thank you for your support!
