Let me tell the truth—because I’m done sugarcoating. I’ve been hit hard. Grief. Loss. Health crisis. A stroke. All of it back-to-back. And through it all, I’ve tried to be the strong one. The one who shows up. Holds it down. Doesn’t complain. But let’s be real—that strength became a prison. I’ve worn pride like protection. I’ve let ego talk me out of asking for help. I’ve said “I’m good” when I was falling apart inside. And I believe God allowed this season to strip me of what was never sustainable. “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” – James 4:6 This isn’t just about bills. This is about me finally learning to let go of the version of myself who thought she had to survive everything alone. ⸻ Where I Am Now I’ve been unable to work since April due to a stroke and medical emergency. I’m actively in physical, occupational, and speech therapy. There’s progress: I graduated from speech therapy. I’ve had zero falls this week. My arm is slowly regaining strength. That’s God. But recovery is more than physical. It’s emotional. Spiritual. Internal. And right now, I need help getting through this chapter—without shame attached to it. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2 If you’ve supported me already—thank you.
